Valentine's Day - Reasons You Love Your Puppy Dog

1. Cuddly hugs from your puppy on a cold, lonely night.
2. Always glad to see you when you come home no matter if
you were gone for an hour or a month.
3. Seeing your new shoes all chewed up and realizing that
you have an excuse to buy more.
4. Deciding that holes dug in your yard all over the place
are just your dog's way of telling you a rose bush needs to
go there.
5. The old tennis ball that looks like garbage and smells
like it too is really just another way for you to get dirty
for a good reason, throwing the ball for your dog.
6. It gets you out of the house and moving, sometimes faster
than you want and sometimes exercising by pulling ten pounds
of immovable dog weight.
7. The one good excuse to play Frisbee for long hours at the
park: Your dog.
8. The dog keeps your blood flowing by poking his cold nose,
in the very early, very cold morning, on the one bare patch
of skin exposed.
9. She stares at you mournfully until you fill up her dog
bowl with something (preferably your breakfast). She's
really just thinking of your diet and how you said you were
cutting back and only eating one egg.
10. When they bury their heads in your crotch, or even
better, your guest's crotch. (Works especially well when
trying to get rid of that annoying sales person, especially
if both your dogs are arguing about it.)
11. Will defend you with their life from the boyfriend or
girlfriend.
12. Tummy scratches, for hours and hours and hours and
hours...
13. Trapping you in your own bed by lying on the blankets.
You didn't really need to go to work after all.
14. Puppy breath is probably the greatest anti-depressant in
the world.
15. Doggy Smiles and Big, Sloppy Kisses.
