A Valentine from Dog to Cat

It's Valentines Day and I'd like to say
How much I appreciate Cat.
Cat is my friend - always willing to play.
I just bark and cat goes running out flat.
And when I am tired and down in the dumps.
Cat cheers me by pouncing and pawing.
We wrangle and wrestle, we get a few bumps.
And both of us wind up just sprawling.
I love Kitty Cat, I confess I do.
He makes an excellent chew toy.
Though it's hard to catch him that's true,
Cats can be really coy.
And when I am hungry Cat makes yummy snacks
I find in his litter box daily.
Even though it makes my owner go hack
I search for them ever so gaily.
Cat leaves interesting smells all around.
I can trace Cat wherever Cat goes.
And I can make Cat yowl a funny sound,
Especially when licking his nose.
But of all of these things what I do love the best,
Is when Cat comes and cuddles at night.
He snuggles up close when it's time to rest.
Good night Cat, until morning light.
