Valentine's Day - Reasons You Love Your Dog Part 3

1. Your dog really believes that you are the best person in the
world, and crazily enough, you want to be just that for him.
2. Dogs are a good reason to shirk responsibility. "I was
playing ball with Chester and lost track of time..."
3. He helps keep your house clean by lying on every
available surface so that they all get equally dirty and
need to be equally cleaned.
4. Shaking muddy water off in the house is just one more way
to let you know that this room needs a cleaning.
5. Drooling isn't a disgusting habit for a dog. It's just
one more big, long, sticky, sloppy reason to love them and
pray that they don't put their head on your knee while you
are sitting down.
6. Sniffing people's rears is just a dog's way of saying
hello, uh HELLO! aka: Don't wear mini skirts when you own a
dog.
7. Helping with recycling by going through your garbage all
over the kitchen floor before you can put it out is your
dog's way of helping you be politically correct.
8. Your dog will always let you know when a storm is coming,
and then get into bed with you so that you won't be too
scared (and vice versa).
9. Your dog will let you know when your new boyfriend isn't
up to snuff.
10. Dog hair on your best clothing is just another way to
break the ice with a bunch of other people at your black tie
event.
11. Tail wagging is just another way to show affection. And
that tail knocking over your vase on the table is just an
excuse to get something better for him to knock over and
break.
12. Bath time isn't just for the dog, it's also for the
owner. Your dog is just doing its part to help you get clean
as well. (Fun, especially when you are allergic to their
flea and tick shampoo.)
13. A dog will never talk back to you, unlike your two year
old.
14. The toilet bowl is his water dish; then while still
dripping he will come and give you kisses. (Eww)
15. Dogs are the most perfect listeners in the world and
their fur is great for drying your tears.
