Valentine's Day - Signs You Love Your Cat - 5
By: Tippy & Alfred
You know you love your cat when....
1. Your cat sneezed and you start to worry that he might be
sick.
2. You pick him up and check him over from head to tail to
make sure there is nothing wrong with him.
3. You notice your cats eyes are a little red and you think
your assumption that your cat is sick is well-founded.
4. You call the vet even though it is late at night because
you have to make sure that your kitty is okay.
5. You can't reach the vet so you curse roundly about vets
and vet hours and why they can't be available 24/7.
6. You then go about making sure your kitty is comfortable
until you can take him to the vet tomorrow.
7. You insist that he sleep in your bed on your pillow under
your favorite blanket.
8. You then go and prepare chicken soup for the cat to eat.
9. Once the chicken soup is done you bring it to the cat and
sit in bed with him stroking and petting him while he eats
the chicken soup.
10. Once he is done with that you put the bowl on the night
stand and proceed to stay up all night with the TV off so
that if anything changes you know right away so you can rush
him to the hospital or something.
11. You spend a sleepless night with no TV so as not to
disturb the cat and you don't move from the spot you are in
because you do not want to wake the cat.
12. In the morning you wait to get up until the cat wakes up
even though you've needed to go to the bathroom for the past
3 hours.
13. Once the cat wakes up you check him over again to see if
there is anything at all wrong with him.
14. You can't find anything wrong with him but you get ready
to take him to the vet just in case.
15. You don't feed him even though he is yelling at you,
just in case he gets sick and throws up in his cat carrier
on the way to the vet; or even worse, has diarrhea.
16. You carefully put him in the cat carrier to go to the
vet with your favorite blanket and a toy.
17. You then call the vet and let them know that you cat
sneezed last night and you tried to call and it is an
emergency and he needs to be seen right away because he
might be sick. And why isn't there someone there at night to
answer the phone?
18. You get to the vet and impatiently wait while your cat
yowls because he is hungry.
19. After ten minutes you start complaining about not being
able to see the vet because your cat is sick and he needs to
be seen now!
20. You finally get to see the vet and you don't let the vet
take the cat out of the carrier you gently take him out and
pet him to reassure him.
21. The vet checks him over and you anxiously wait for his
verdict.
22. The vet asks you some questions that you think are
pointless. Why can't he just tell you what's wrong with your
kitty?
23. He then pronounces the cat healthy and says that he is
just hungry.
24. You are reassured but still think there might be a
problem with the cat.
25. You take the cat home and take him out of the carrier
where upon the cat sneezes.
26. Repeat 1 through 26.
