You'd almost have to feel sorry for a chicken hawk who
doesn't know what a chicken looks like, but for Henery
Hawk we'll make an exception.

The Squawkin' Hawk(1942)
was the first cartoon Henery Hawk appeared in. In this film he was
a young hawk whose mother was trying to get him to eat a worm
because he was too young to go after chickens. But Henery was
stubborn and he goes after chickens behind her back.
Walky, Talky, Hawky (1946)
Henery Hawk spends his time looking for a chicken to eat.
He happens to bump into Foghorn Leghorn who tries to
convince Henery that Barnyard Dawg is actually the
Crowing Pains (1947)
Sylvester Puddy Tat tries to steal a bone from the dog, while
Henery Hawk is after Foghorn for his dinner. Meanwhile, Foghorn tries
to convince Henery that Sylvester is a chicken!
Henery goes after Sylvester, who is already having
trouble with the dog.
Henery decides to wait till daybreak for one of the three culprits --
Foghorn, Sylvester and the Barnyard Dawg -- to crow so that he
can procure the chicken.
You were never Duckier (1948)
Daffy Duck is upset that the prize for a first-place duck at the
National Poultry Show is only $5, but a rooster will win $5,000.
Daffy disguises himself as a rooster so he can win the
big prize. Unfortunately for Daffy, he becomes the object
of Henery Hawk's desire for a chicken dinner

In all the above cartoons, Henery Hawk continues to hunt
chickens even though he doesn't know what one looks like,
each cartoon has a variation on the hunt and the hunted.
Henhouse Henery (1949)
Foghorn Leghorn tries to teach
Henery to start with smaller chickens, Barnyard Dawg
helps Henery catch Foghorn.
Strangled Eggs (1961)
Foghorn Leghorn tries to get warm. He then also contemplates
romance and warmth, but not in that order, and he marries
Miss Prissy, the spinster hen. However, he also winds up finding
his old acquaintance--Henery Hawk, who smells chicken.
Henery winds up on Miss Prissy's doorstep, s an abandoned child.
(An accompanying note reads: "Dear Lady -- Please take care of
my little one. Signed, Big One.") Thus, Foghorn has to find
ways to save himself and Prissy from the chicken hawk, but
Miss Prissy wants to adopt it as a son! Foghorn tries in vain to
convince Miss Prissy that Henery Hawk is a chicken hawk.
